Synopsis
Mother of All Living is an intimate, eight-part limited series that reimagines Eve not as a distant figure of myth, but as a young woman encountering mortality for the first time. Cast out of the garden-temple and into a wild, fallen world, Eve becomes the emotional center of a story as ancient as humanity itself, and as immediate as first breath, first hunger, and first grief.
Told entirely through Eve’s perspective, the series follows her as she navigates love, loss, revelation, and rebellion in a world without precedent. She experiences fear and desire with an intensity she has never known, learns to nurture life while confronting death, and struggles to preserve memory and meaning in a society still learning what it means to exist. As children are born and mortality takes hold, Eve becomes a reluctant leader, guiding a fragile new civilization through uncertainty, moral discovery, and growing division.
As the family expands, so does conflict. Competing visions of power, worship, and authority emerge. Bonds fracture. Violence enters a world once defined by trust. Eve must navigate a marriage strained by sorrow, motherhood shaped by fear, and leadership forged through loss. She is not spared doubt, nor shielded from consequence. Every choice carries weight. Every act of faith costs something real. Civilization does not arrive fully formed, it is built slowly, painfully, and imperfectly, by people learning what it means to be free.

Our Approach
Mother of All Living treats the pre-diluvian world not as myth, but as lived history, an age of first attempts, failed experiments, and moral awakening. The series rejects abstraction in favor of experience, grounding its theology in hunger, grief, love, and choice. Eve is not an idea; she is a woman, a wife, mother, leader, queen, and priestess, whose decisions shape the course of human history and reveal the terrible and beautiful cost of freedom.
This series is intentionally intimate in scale. Designed as a single-season limited series, it does not rely on spectacle or sprawling casts. Its power comes from writing, performance, and theological depth. The world is raw and grounded. The drama is internal as much as external.
As our first historical drama, Mother of All Living represents the creative heart of 1830 Studios: storytelling that is personally engaging, theologically profound, and emotionally honest. It approaches sacred history with reverence without distance, and faith without didacticism, inviting audiences to encounter these ancient stories not as mythology to be decoded, but as human lives to be understood.
